About AJ

I started riding dirt bikes when I was just three years old and racing motocross when I was five. Just before I turned ten, I decided to try road racing and I fell in love right away.

I broke out of the intermediate (beginner) class my first race weekend by having a lap time that was too fast. This fueled me to keep trying harder and improve my speed and ability, achieving the Most Improved Rider for the Pacific Coast Mini Roadracing Club (PCMRC).

The 2017-2021 seasons included many highlights for me and much growth as a rider. I competed in a variety of classes and gained experience by riding different bikes, entering the 250 Production class in 2020 with a CBR250. The exciting pace of this class taught me many things and inspired me to push myself further.

In 2020, at just 13 years old, I was given the incredible opportunity to receive instruction at the exclusive, and world-class Area 27 Motorsports Park. After this session, I was approved to ride as a minor there.

In 2021, I completed the Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club (WMRC) New Racer School and earned my Novice Race License just weeks after turning 14 years old, becoming the youngest rider to achieve this in WMRC history. That season I competed in multiple races and started to ride the SV650 at track days at Mission Raceway as well as Area 27.

Now 15, I’ve recently been given another opportunity– the invitation to race in the newly-established Pro Twins class of the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship.

This series will be my first time racing in a professional class, against professional riders, which I am so excited for. If I want to get better, I need to keep pushing myself and race against better racers; this will be my chance to do that.
